We need water for more than just life! Wake is an unusual sport that uses a board to surf and… a lift suspended over a body of water! This sport proves that marine activities know no limits, plus it causes a veritable sensory hurricane of sensations. For beginners, an experienced instructor will introduce the recipient and train the technique and procedures accompanying the execution. Show your loved one that there is no pen that will write a chapter in the book of life experiences. Such things can only be done with an inkjet and the positive madness that comes from a storm of joy! This is a perfect gift idea for a son, husband or even a friend – water loves everyone equally!
Does a wakeboard lift work like a ski lift in the mountains?
What a wakeboard lift has in common with a ski lift is only the rope that pulls the skier or wakeboarder. The main difference is that on a wakeboard lift, the instructor stops the lift in case of a fall and swims up to the person lying in the water and slowly allows him or her to get up from the water and continue swimming. A ski lift does not stop during normal operation.
Is it safe to swim on a wakeboard?
Wakeboarding at a basic level is very safe for people with good general health. With wakeboarding it’s like any extreme sport. As we gain more skills and knowledge in wakeboarding, there are more risks. Jumping on jumps, or riding on sliders or boxes, of course, causes more danger than normal swimming. It is always a good idea to ask the instructor how to perform a new technical element, which will minimize the danger.
How many people use the lift at one time?
The lift is used by one person at a time. This allows learning to be individualized to the student’s abilities. The instructor selects the appropriate speed and technique for each person realizing.
