You will want to do it again!
If someone close to you dreams of skydiving, a tandem jump is the perfect introduction to this kind of experience. We already write why. First of all, you don’t need to have completed an AFF course. It involves two people – a pilot and a passenger. The pilot is equipped with a tandem parachute, while the passenger is hooked up to the parachute harness. Second: before jumping, the person to whom you give the gift will undergo a short professional training, which will familiarize him with the course and methods of behavior during the sky attraction. The “dry” training will prepare her to exit the threshold, maintain her posture and descend from a height of 4,000 meters.
What does one feel after leaving the aircraft?
A heightened level of adrenaline. A rush of air that can’t be compared to anything else, since the descent speed is about 200 kilometers per hour. Perhaps a mildly elevated level of stress, which after a while turns into pleasant excitement. Nothing surprising in this – this is a completely new situation that the participant will face. After a few tens of seconds in the air there is a jerk, a sign that the parachute canopy has opened. With it comes a feeling of relief – blissful silence and indescribable views stretching below.
Is the jumping equipment safe?
Tandem jumping equipment comes from reputable companies. The SIGMA system, manufactured by the American company UPT, is a Ferrari among tandem parachutes. The parachute is equipped with a system that slows down the speed of free fall, and the canopy surface allows two people to land safely. The passenger’s harness has been certified for load-bearing capacity – many times exceeding the combined weight of the pilot and passenger. In summary – the equipment is safe for both the passenger and the pilot.
