Learning Surfing by the Polish sea is against all odds possible! We conduct classes in Chałupy where there are some of the best conditions for Surfing in Poland. The first element of the training is a theoretical lecture covering safety issues and surfing theory. The next element is a solid warm-up after which we go into the water. The first hour of classes is to learn how to properly lie on the board, paddling and positioning in relation to the wave. When we master these elements it remains to practice standing up on the board while riding the wave. With large training boards, the first steps are relatively easy, and even small waves are enough to learn to surf.
Surfing is also an excellent option for children. In the Baltic Sea there are often small waves so learning is very safe and allows for many training sessions. Children, because of their light weight, learn their first steps much faster than adults. Training children should always be done through fun, so the important factor is that they have fun with it from the very beginning! The buoyancy of the adult board is large enough that a child can easily stand on it even when not riding down a wave. When training children, the utmost attention and care is required, so classes are held in small groups or individually.
