Feed and cuddle the alpacas
Did you, like us, after seeing these adorable wool-wrapped animals at the zoo, get the urge to nip at the leaves and tempt them to come over to the fence? We did. Besides, we weren’t the only ones. Unfortunately, from the zoo you can’t feed both alpacas and other animals. This disrupts the regular rhythm of meals. On top of that, not all enclosures are designed so that you can pet these unique quadrupeds. It so happens that in Zloty Potok there is an opportunity to get to know the alpacas from a close distance! What’s more, you can feed them , comb them, hug them and take photos with them to your heart’s content!
Everyone needs tranquility and relaxation
Did you know that contact with alpacas calms you down, relaxes you, helps you break mental barriers and overcome fears? Being in their company gives confidence to people of all ages. It opens up young children and makes them gather the courage to ask more and more questions, communicate in expanded sentences – no wonder, they take on the curious and open attitude of alpacas! Yes, they are extraordinary animals. Meetings and walks with alpacas stimulate the nervous system and psychosocial development also in people with intellectual disabilities.
How long does a meeting with alpacas last?
Depending on the pace of the walk and the ability of the walkers, the adventure lasts from 60 to 90 minutes. We set off from the farm “Dilusiowe Alpaki – Alpakoterapia Ewelina Kurzak” in Ponik and walk towards the Palace and Park Complex in Zloty Potok. In the park there is a beautiful Zygmunt Krasinski Manor House with preserved original furnishings. You can also see, from the outside, the Raczynski Palace. If someone prefers, we suggest a walk through the fields and forest. The route is about 3 kilometers long. You can go for the walk with a child in a stroller. People in wheelchairs can also take part. During the experience you will learn a lot of interesting facts about alpacas – and yes, as we mentioned earlier – along the way you can feed them, comb them, hug them and take hundreds of photos!
