Krosno airport is a professional air base with a mission to develop small air traffic. It has modern infrastructure – a paved asphalt and concrete strip, a lighting system and two grass strips. The main idea is to promote aviation and the training of future pilots in the Podkarpackie region.
Flying by motorglider – Organizational information:
- flights are held from May to October, both on weekdays from 5 pm until sunset, and on weekends from sunrise until 9:30 am,
- due to unfavorable weather conditions, such as rain, strong wind, snow or thunderstorms, the flight may be rescheduled – the decision is made by the pilot,
- voucher valid for 12 months after purchase, booking at least 7 days in advance, and flight confirmation must be made 24 hours in advance,
- sportswear and comfortable shoes required, gloves and warm clothing recommended in colder weather,
- maximum weight of the participant: 100 kg, minimum age: 14 years (written consent of guardian required), joining the flight excludes presence under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants,
- tandem motorglider flight includes a short training and constant contact with the pilot via intercom during the flight,
- prior to the motorized flight there is a training and taxiing lasting 15 minutes.
