COURSE OF TREATMENT
Cosmetic teeth whitening is based on the use of a preparation (gel) that oxidizes the organic material found in the tooth microcavities, which is responsible for the discoloration of the enamel. It has been registered in accordance with EU law, is the leading non peroxide product in Europe and meets all EU requirements regulated by Council Directive 2011/84/EU of 20.09.2011. The catalyst for the whitening process, on the other hand, is cold blue light emitted by a LED lamp.
BASIC WHITENING
In the case of BASIC whitening, the treatment consists of 3 sessions, each of which lasts only 15 minutes. At the beginning, a gel is applied to the teeth and an LED lamp is activated to illuminate the teeth. During this time, the client relaxes in a massage chair and listens to music. The entire procedure is completely non-invasive, safe and painless. After each session, you only need to rinse your mouth with water. It’s best to reserve about an hour for your appointment so that you can undergo the treatment without rushing and in comfort.
PREMIUM WHITENING
The PREMIUM teeth whitening option, on the other hand, includes 2 sessions, each lasting 30 minutes. More gel is then applied for a stronger effect. You should reserve about an hour and a half for this visit.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Before the visit you should eat something substantial and brush your teeth thoroughly, immediately after the treatment you cannot eat for 2 hours and you are allowed to drink only pure water (no citrus)
- Cosmetic teeth whitening procedure is performed only to adults
- There is a possibility to perform the procedure for two people at the same time – it concerns the DOUBLE BASIC SMILE option of teeth whitening for two.
There are contraindications to perform the procedure and they are:
- pregnancy and breastfeeding,
- diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, hypertension, cancer, heart disorders,
- recent history of oral surgery,
- piercings in the oral cavity (they need to be removed),
- dental cavities and inflammation (aphthous, bleeding gums, erosions),
- periodontitis,
- braces (you have to wait 6 months after removing them).
