Explore the Diverse Sections of Our Rafting Routes
The journey from Gościeradz to Smukała features a wide, sunlit river with a gentle current, perfect for swimming and relaxing on sandy banks. Along the way, you’ll encounter two portages at the hydroelectric plants in Tryszczyn and Smukala. As you continue, the next 6 km of the river offers a thrilling contrast, resembling the scenic Bory Tucholskie region, with a faster, narrower, and more shaded path. Once you reach the Hypszera (Kamienna) bridge, the river merges with the Bydgoszcz Canal, slowing down significantly as you enter the most picturesque urban stretch of the trip. Here, on Mill Island, you can experience sluicing, followed by another portage. Finally, prepare to be enchanted as you navigate through the Venice of Bydgoszcz, where the river transforms into a wild and untamed waterway, inaccessible to pedestrians.
