The offered variant of the trip leads “through the slab” with a rating of II according to the UIAA scale. This is a relatively easy climbing area that will not be a problem for an athletic person. The hike includes 7 kilometers from the hut, 100 meters of climbing and as much as 765 meters of elevation gain.
- The tour lasts about 8 hours and is led by a licensed Tatra guide authorized to lead tours off designated trails.
- The price of the offer includes full provision of the necessary equipment for the tour, i.e. harness and helmet.
- The service price includes accident insurance – 20 000 PLN.
- The price of the voucher does not include an entrance ticket to the Tatra National Park.

Tour schedule
- 7:00 / 8:00 – meeting in front of the Shelter at the Morskie Oko Lake / or in front of the barrier in Palenica Białczańska / or 30 minutes earlier in Zakopane – the meeting place is determined individually a few days before the date of the trip,
- 9:00 – rest in the hostel, discuss the plan of the trip, adjust the equipment,
- 9:30 – 11:00 – approach to the Monk’s Back and Higher Monk’s Pass,
- 11:00 – 13:00 – wearing harnesses and ascending to the Upper Shelves and then to the summit dome itself. 100 meters of climbing is led by a guide, belaying participants. The upper part of the ascent, due to the exposure, is the essence of the ascent of the Monk and provides an unforgettable experience, after reaching the top there is a rope descent (the guide leaves the participants one by one). The ascent is done in a division into two teams – first the guide leaves with 2 people, and after the descent he enters with the other two,
- 14:00 – 15:00 – return to the starting point.
NOTE
- It is necessary to book the date of the tour in advance. It can be done by contacting the organizer of the service, whose contact information is included on the purchased voucher.
- When making a reservation, provide the organizer with the voucher number.
- Take the gift voucher with you on the tour.
- Persons under the age of 18 can participate in the tour only with written parental consent.
- High altitude tourism is a sport with a certain amount of risk – the client takes part in the service at his own risk. Before the start of the tour, it is also necessary to sign the regulations.
- In case of damage to the rented equipment – the customer bears the cost of repair or replacement.
- The service is seasonal and depends on weather conditions.
