Parachute jumping is the safest extreme sport. As a professional parachute school, we follow all safety recommendations imposed by relevant laws and regulations, and we are listed as a center of the Civil Aviation Authority and are regularly inspected by them.
However, if you are concerned that your parachute will not open during the flight, know that each parachute set has two parachutes: the main and the spare. If the main parachute fails to open, your tandem pilot will open the reserve parachute. During the flight, you will be in the hands of qualified instructors who will take care of your safety while you can indulge in a carefree moment of descent.
The tandem jump consists of 4 stages:
- Preparation for the jump
Preparation time for the jump is about 1 hour. When you arrive at the site, you will complete the necessary documentation. Later, the instructor will put a special harness on you, with the help of which you will be strapped to him at all times, and you will begin ground training.
- Takeoff of the aircraft and start climbing to the height of the tandem jump
The ascent to an altitude of 3,500 meters takes about 30 minutes. During this time you will be able to enjoy the beautiful views and properly prepare for the jump.
- Departing the aircraft – tandem jump and canopy jump
The tandem jump and canopy jump takes about 10 minutes. The jump begins, in fact, the very moment the aircraft door opens, where after the command “READY, SET, GO” the instructor will tilt with you towards the sky and carry you into the air. The freefall will last from 35 to 50 seconds and will exceed a speed of 200 kilometers per hour. Then, at an altitude of 1,700 meters, the instructor will open the parachute and give you the controls. In this way you will glide for 6 to 8 minutes.
